The vision behind our Go-Kart Racing Program came from Joe Wisniewski, a sports photographer.  In 2006, while driving into Trenton he saw a billboard with youth being hand-cuffed with a saying to parents, "If you don't take care of them, we will".  He was so upset with this negative indictment on Trenton youth, he decided to provide something that would be a positive help for the development our youth's future.

As an amateur driver of go-karts, and a member of the Indianapolis 500 club, he wanted to provide his expertise and experience to help our youth.

Unfortunately, Joe, never got to see it fulfilled.  In May 2007, after returning from the Indianapolis 500 Race, which he attended every year for over 40 years, Joe had a heart attack and passed away.

Others came to continue Joe's vision, and because of a generous donation, in the spring of 2008, the first group of 8 Trenton youth went on the track for the first time, at Raceway Park, in Englishtown, NJ. (See Photo Page)

By 2009, the youth also raced the go-karts at Wall Stadium, Wall, NJ and New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, NJ.

Already our young drivers have excelled.  On Nov. 1, 2009, at the Millville Endurance Race, the Junior Team placed First Place in their class and Second Place Overall.  Our Senior Team placed First and Second Place in their class and Fifth and Eighth Place Overall.  We are very proud of our Trenton Youth.
